Biographical data
He completed his secondary education in Sátoraljaújhely and his theological studies in Budapest. He was ordained a priest on June 29, 1896. He was a journalist, writer, and editor of *Katolikus Magyarok Vasárnapja* (Sunday of the Catholic Hungarians). He arrived in the United States in 1904. In 1925, he received the Red Cross Medal of Merit for his charitable work on behalf of the Hungarian community.
