Biographical data

He entered the Benedictine Order on August 6, 1935. He took his solemn vows on June 28, 1940. He was ordained a priest on June 22, 1941. He left the country in 1948 and remained in the United States until 1975. In 1974, he requested a transfer to São Paulo, Brazil, where he left the Benedictines shortly thereafter. In 1977, he requested to be laicized, which was granted on May 27 of that same year.
