Biographical data
He entered the order on August 14, 1943. He completed his novitiate in Manréza, then studied philosophy in Szeged from 1946 to 1948. In 1948, he was sent to Germany for his master’s degree. From 1949 to 1951, he was a master’s student in St. Blasien. He completed his theological studies in Leuven, where he was ordained a priest on August 15, 1954. He took his final vows on August 15, 1960. His superiors sent him on a mission to South America. From 1956 to 1963, he was a teacher in Chile. From 1964 to 1965, he earned a doctorate in philosophy in Rome. In 1966, he taught philosophy in San Miguel, Argentina, then briefly joined the Carthusian Order, after which he resided in Rome.
