He is a second-generation Hungarian. His father was István Koszty, and his mother was Mária Záhorcsák. His wife is Magdolna Krafcsik. He pursued his theological studies in Uzhhorod. He was ordained a priest on March 27, 1938, by Bishop Sándor Sztojka of Munkács. In 1945, he left for Czechoslovakia and later moved to the United States. The place and date of his death are unknown.
