Biographical data
He graduated from high school in Gyulafehérvár in 1987, then served as a soldier in Zilah for one year. From 1988 to 1990, he was a student at the Gyulafehérvár Seminary. He entered the order on September 6, 1990. He completed his theological studies in Innsbruck. From 1995 to 1998, he studied social communication at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, specializing in television and film, while also working at Vatican Radio. From 1998 to 2000, he worked as an assistant editor and director in the editorial department of Hungarian Television’s Church and Religious Programs. He was ordained a priest by Attila Miklósházy, SJ, in Budapest on April 29, 2000. From 2004 to 2011, he worked as a documentary filmmaker for MTV, Duna, and Echo television stations, as well as for Catholic radio. In 2011, he defended his doctoral dissertation in organizational communication. His research focuses on the practical applications of participation theory (PTC). Since 2011, he has been a full-time lecturer at the Institute of Marketing and Communication Sciences at Corvinus University. He completed his third year of novitiate in India from 2009 to 2010. Since 2016, he has served in the Diocese of Vác, where he was incardinated on March 25, 2021, after being released from his religious obligations. Since 2022, he has also served as the spiritual director of the permanent deacon formation program in Vác.
