Biographical data
As one of the most highly educated Hungarian Jesuits of his time, he worked primarily as a teacher and scholar. He was a professor and later rector at the University of Córdoba, and he is credited with establishing the first printing press in what is now Argentina. Following the dissolution of the Jesuit Order in 1767, he was expelled from South America, then imprisoned, and eventually returned to Nagyszombat.
