He is a third-generation Hungarian. His parents are Stanley Orley and Helen Julia Borz. He completed his studies at St. Mary Seminary and in Vienna, where he attended Masses celebrated by József Mindszenty on several occasions. He was ordained a priest in 1975. At the time of his appointment as parish priest, he was the youngest parish priest in the diocese. He established the “Young Married Couples” group and founded a “handicrafts circle” for the elderly. In addition to his priestly duties, he was also a potter. He retired early due to illness. He was actively involved with the Hungarian Heritage Museum, the Buckeye-Woodland Neighborhood Committee, and the Cardinal Mindszenty Square Committee. During his illness, he maintained contact with the Kamms Corners Development Center, where he worked as a neighborhood preservation consultant. He passed away from cancer on his 49th birthday at St. Vincent Charity Hospital.
