From 1945, he studied in Rome, where he was ordained a priest in 1948. He became an active member of the Hungarian Catholic emigration following World War II. Around 1949, he served as a theology professor in Buenos Aires, Argentina, within the Hungarian émigré church community. From the 1950s onward, he served in the United States, including in Cleveland, Yonkers, and Barberton. He also served as president of the Mindszenty Movement, maintaining strong ties to the anti-communist Hungarian emigration community.
