Biographical data
He entered the Society of Jesus in Nagyszombat on August 13, 1896. After his novitiate, he studied rhetoric for two years in Nagyszombat and then in St. Andrä, after which he served as a tutor in Szatmárnémeti. From 1903 to 1905, he studied philosophy in Pozsony, and then spent two years in Kalocsa as a catechist and language teacher. From 1908 to 1911, he studied theology in Innsbruck, where he was ordained a priest on July 26, 1910. He then completed his third probationary year in Drongen, Belgium. His literary works reveal strong anti-communist and anti-Semitic sentiments. In 1921, he left the Jesuit Order, became a priest in the Diocese of Veszprém, and emigrated to the United States that same year.
