Biographical data
He was born in the United States; his parents lived in Passaic, PA. His father’s name was József, and his mother’s name was Anna; he had one sister and four brothers. He completed his studies in Hungary and was ordained a priest in Eger on September 15, 1939; then, when World War II broke out, he managed to return to the United States after an eventful journey. In 1962, he left the Franciscan Order and was incardinated into the Diocese of Pittsburgh. He died of kidney disease.
